Don Adam Perera is a classical guitarist and teacher whose wide repertoire spans many genres, including classical, romantic, tango and Spanish. He is available for Concerts, Private Dinners, Parties, Soirées, Weddings and Funerals. 

Don Perera, born 1987 in Hertfordshire, England, is an accomplished guitarist, competent in many styles and genres including Classical, Modern, World, Rock and Electronic. Don achieved Grade 8 in classical guitar aged 12 and entered the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department aged 14. 


He has performed classical recitals since the age of nine at concerts, winning many local festivals and competitions. He
regularly plays at charity functions and also composes his own wide variety of music. 

Don has studied under many guitarists – initially Patrick Gibson and Jonathon Preiss. He attended the Junior Royal Academy of Music for four years in his teenage years to study under Professor Michael Lewin, where he also participated in many masterclasses including with the world-renowned David Russell. He also was taught by Gerald Garcia for a year before his four years of training at the Trinity College of Music, where he studied under the great guitarist, Graham Anthony Devine, and where in his second year he won the Montague Cleeve guitarist award.

After graduating from Trinity College of Music, he travelled South America to explore both the culture and native Tango music. Don then returned to Trinity where he completed his Master of Music degree in guitar performance.
